YOUR ROLE
We are hiring a Visual Designer who cares, deeply, about how things look and feel. You will work side by side with our two UX/UI designers and own the visual layer of our Point-Of-Sale apps and everything we use to sell them.
We want someone who chases the right shade of green for an hour and enjoys it. Someone who can draw a full icon set where every glyph clearly belongs to the same family. Someone who knows that a good 200-millisecond animation is the difference between software that feels cheap and software that feels premium. If you light up at any of that, keep reading.
What You Will Do
- Make every screen of our POS apps look sharp, working alongside our UX/UI designers on color, typography, spacing, and layout.
- Design and maintain our custom icon set, keeping hundreds of icons consistent in style, weight, and visual metaphor.
- Create illustrations and visual details that give our product personality, while staying out of the way when operators are working through a busy service.
- Design app store screenshots and feature graphics that show what our product does in seconds and turn browsers into installs.
- Design imagery, banners, and visuals for our marketing website, social channels, and sales materials.
- Evolve our visual language as the product expands from restaurants into retail and supermarkets.
What We Are Looking For
- 1 to 3 years of experience as a visual designer or brand designer with a strong visual craft focus.
- A portfolio that shows real range: product UI work, custom icons, illustration, and at least some motion or marketing assets. We care more about the work than where it was made.
- Strong fundamentals in color theory, typography, composition, and visual hierarchy.
- Solid experience designing for software products, ideally cross-platform (mobile, tablet, desktop, web).
- Hands-on experience with Lottie for shipping animations to real apps.
- Working proficiency with Affinity and Adobe Creative Suite (or equivalent tools) for illustration, imaging, and icon work.
- Good written English and the ability to communicate clearly with a distributed team.
- A collaborative attitude. You enjoy supporting other designers, taking direction, pushing back when needed, and shipping together rather than working in isolation.

About Us
Flysoft Systems is a Germany-based software company that has spent the last 10 years building POS systems for restaurants, retail, and supermarkets. We are a tight team of 12 shipping a cloud-based, cross-platform product across mobile, tablet, desktop, and web, with our next major launch landing in June 2026. We also support our restaurant clients with everything around the POS: websites, payment processing, and hardware.
