Role Description

We're looking for an AI-native Visual Brand Designer who lives at the intersection of design, brand, and generative tools. This is not a take brief, wait for feedback, make rounds role. We want someone who will set their own bar, move fast, and use AI + design craft to ship distinctive work across categories and platforms. You'll own the visual identity layer across our multi-brand setup, keeping things cohesive at the system level while letting each brand stand out on its own terms.

What You'll Do

1. Brand Identity Development

  • Create and maintain visual guidelines including logos, colour palettes, typography, and imagery
  • Build a cohesive multi-brand design system where each brand retains a distinct visual voice
  • Ensure consistency across touchpoints while allowing each brand to breathe and stand out individually

2. Concept to Output

  • Take rough briefs, prompts, or business problems and turn them into sharp, on-brand images and visual ideas
  • Use both GenAI tools and traditional design tools to move from brief to polished output, fast
  • Write detailed prompts to control tone, aesthetics, composition, and visual language

3. Brand Stewardship

  • Guard the sanctity of brand guidelines while pushing the edges in a thoughtful, strategic way
  • Be the internal design conscience; flag when things are off-brand and fix them before they ship
  • Collaborate with marketing and brand teams to keep creative output consistently elevated

4. Systems & Libraries

  • Help build and maintain a high-quality library of prompts, templates, and brand assets
  • Make the whole team faster and sharper through well-organised, reusable design infrastructure
  • Document standards and create guidelines that others can actually use

Tool Stack

Figma, Adobe Design Suite, Framer. Bonus if you're comfortable with generative media AI (Midjourney, Kling, Runway, etc.)

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

  • Great taste: Sharp eye for typography, layout, colour, visual hierarchy, and composition
  • Bar-raiser mindset: You're not here to service requests; you're here to elevate how the brand looks and feels
  • GenAI fluency: Hands-on experience with Midjourney, Gemini, RunwayML, or similar tools for shippable work, not just experimentation
  • Design tool proficiency: Strong skills in Figma + Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or equivalent)
  • High ownership: Zero follow-ups needed; you close loops yourself and move work forward independently
  • Strong point of view: You have a strong opinion on what good looks like and the craft to back it

Qualifications

  • A degree from a design institution (NID, Srishti, MIT-ID, NIFT, Pearl Academy, or equivalent)
  • 1-2 years of experience in visual design or branding, agency-side or in-house
  • Demonstrated portfolio showing brand identity work, visual systems, and multi-format creative output
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working on multi-brand or sub-brand design systems
  • Comfort working with performance marketing and brand team in a fast-paced environment
  • A lean toward learning multimedia design and experimenting with AI video production (Kling, Runway, Veo, Seedance) is a strong plus
