Role Description

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Software Developer with 3-4 years of hands-on experience in .NET desktop application development. You will work on enhancing and maintaining DeckUp SlideXpress — a feature-rich VSTO PowerPoint Add-in used by consultants and business professionals. You will collaborate closely with the product team to deliver new features, fix bugs, and improve the overall user experience.

Required Skills & Qualifications

•3-4 years of professional software development experience

•Strong proficiency in VB.NET and/or C# with .NET Framework (4.x)

•Solid experience with WPF (XAML, bindings, styles, templates) and WinForms

•Hands-on experience with VSTO (Visual Studio Tools for Office) or Office Add-in development is a strong plus

•Experience with MongoDB and MongoDB .NET Driver

•Experience with NuGet package management

•Understanding of async/await programming patterns

•Good understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and clean code practices

•Prior experience with Microsoft Office COM interop or VSTO PowerPoint/Word Add-ins

•Experience with Click Once deployment and Windows Installer (VDPROJ/MSI)

•Basic familiarity with MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) is an added advantage

•Understanding of digital signing and certificate management for .NET applications

•Experience with file caching and performance optimization in desktop apps

•B.E. / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc. in Computer Science, / B.Sc. in Computer Science ,Information Technology, or a related field
