About the Role
We are looking for a Visual & Pro Interaction Designer Intern who lives and breathes pixel-perfect visuals, motion, and interaction craft. This is a craft-heavy role focused on visual design and motion/interaction design, not UX research or product design.
You will work closely with our design and brand teams to push the visual language of our apps, create polished animations, and design micro-interactions that make our experiences feel alive. If you love crafting beautiful screens, animating them into life, and obsessing over every easing curve and frame, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities
Motion & Interaction Design
- Design micro-interactions, transitions, gestures, and motion behaviors across our app surfaces.
- Craft interactive prototypes and animations that communicate intent, feel, and rhythm.
- Explore motion storytelling for onboarding, engagement loops, and delight moments.
- Build production-ready animations (Lottie, Rive, After Effects) for in-app experiences, campaigns, and social content.
- Define motion principles - timing, easing, choreography - and apply them consistently across surfaces.
Visual Design
- Create visually rich, emotionally resonant compositions aligned with our brand and design system.
- Design high-quality UI screens, illustrations, icon sets, and marketing visuals across mobile and web.
- Maintain craft consistency across typography, spacing, color, and visual hierarchy.
- Produce campaign assets, social creatives, and in-app artwork for festivals, launches, and brand moments.
Design Systems & Prototyping
- Contribute reusable visual and motion components to our design system.
- Create high-fidelity interactive prototypes using Figma, ProtoPie, Principle, Rive, or After Effects.
- Partner with engineers on motion handoff - specs, easing curves, timing tokens — to ensure pixel-accurate implementation.
What We're Looking For
- Exceptional visual design fundamentals - typography, layout, color, hierarchy, and composition.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Solid grasp of motion design principles - timing, easing, anticipation, follow-through, choreography.
- Hands-on experience with motion and prototyping tools: After Effects, ProtoPie, Principle, Rive, Lottie.
- Demonstrated ability to ship polished UI visuals and engaging animations.
- Sharp attention to detail and a refined aesthetic sensibility.
- Comfort working mobile-first for consumer apps.
- A portfolio that prominently showcases visual design, motion, interaction, and branding work - craft over case studies.
Bonus Points
- Experience with AI design tools such as Midjourney, DALL·E, Runway, or Uizard.
- Familiarity with motion/animation handoff workflows for developers (Lottie JSON, Rive runtimes, timing tokens).
- Personal motion or illustration projects shared on Dribbble, Behance, or social channels.
