About The Opportunity
Healthcare Clinical services and on-site primary care support for community hospitals and outpatient clinics in underserved regions. We provide visiting clinical coverage and medical staffing solutions focused on dependable, high-quality patient care.
We are hiring a Visiting Resident Medical Officer (parttime) for Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh to provide clinical coverage with minimal on-site commitments (two visits per month).
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled on-site clinical rounds (two visits per month) at the Bilaspur facility and deliver outpatient and admission assessments as required.
- Perform medical history-taking, physical examinations, diagnostic interpretation, and formulate evidence-based treatment plans during visits.
- Stabilize and manage acute medical emergencies and coordinate timely referrals to higher centers when necessary.
- Prescribe and manage medications according to standard treatment protocols and ensure accurate medication reconciliation.
- Maintain clear, complete medical records in the facility EMR or paper charts and handover concise clinical summaries to site staff after each visit.
- Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to support patient flow, follow-up arrangements, and quality-of-care checks during visits.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- MBBS degree with active registration in India (Medical Council / State Medical Council).
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to manage emergency stabilization.
- Willingness and ability to attend two on-site visits per month at Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh (on-site role).
- Experience in outpatient care, emergency triage, and inpatient assessments.
- Proven competence in clinical documentation and prescription writing.
Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Prior experience as an RMO, visiting medical officer, or in community hospital rotations.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems and teleconsult follow-up workflows.
