Position Overview:
The CAD Faculty is responsible for delivering high-quality training and instruction in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools and techniques. The role involves curriculum delivery, practical demonstrations, project supervision, and mentoring students to develop professional-level CAD skills aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct classroo on CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, Revit, or similar tools (based on department focus).
- Deliver lessons in 2D Drafting, 3D Modeling, Rendering, and Design Analysis.
- Develop lesson plans, training materials, assignments, and assessments for students.
- Guide students on live projects and portfolio development.
- Evaluate student performance through internal assessments, practical tests, and project reviews.
- Stay updated with the latest CAD software updates, design methodologies, and technological trends.
- Maintain academic discipline and promote a culture of innovation and creativity.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD tool (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, Creo, or Revit).
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings, design standards, and drafting principles.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to teach both conceptual and hands-on CAD applications.
- Strong organizational, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to engage students with practical and interactive sessions.
