Schedule: 5 days a week | 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Workload: 6 sessions per day (including theory lectures, tutorials, and office hours)
Remuneration: 1,200 - 1,500 per session
Commitment for the entire duration is must.

Role Summary
edept Operations is seeking a knowledgeable and engaging Visiting Faculty member to deliver Fundamentals of Computers for First Semester B.Tech students. The faculty member will cover theoretical concepts, logic-building exercises, and networking fundamentals as part of the foundational CS curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver theory lectures and tutorial sessions per week as per the prescribed syllabus
• Cover core topics including computer organisation, data representation, logic gates, Boolean algebra, operating systems, networking basics, and internet fundamentals
• Develop structured lecture notes, tutorials, and assignment sheets
• Set and evaluate internal assessments (assignments, class tests, sessionals) and end semester examinations.
• Conduct weekly academic assessment on edept LXP.
• Maintain student attendance records and submit timely progress reports
• Coordinate with the Edept academic team on syllabus coverage and assessment schedules
• Guide students during office hours and address individual academic concerns
Qualifications & Experience
• B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
• M.Tech or Ph.D. candidates / holders preferred
• Strong command over computer organisation, digital logic, and networking fundamentals
• Minimum 1-2 years of teaching experience at undergraduate level (freshers with strong academic profiles may apply)
• Ability to explain abstract concepts clearly using structured, logical examples
• Familiarity with syllabus structures of technical universities (GTU, GGSIPU, AKTU, etc.) is an advantage
Preferred / Added Advantage
• Experience teaching first-year engineering students
• Knowledge of modern pedagogical tools (Google Classroom, Moodle, etc.)
• Publications or research in foundational computing areas
Compensation
As per edept standard visiting faculty rates; commensurate with qualifications and experience
