Vision plus Developer-batch processing

Key Responsibilities:

Handling Vision Plus application batch processing in clients production and test

environments

Collaborate with cross-functional & Technical teams to ensure smooth execution

of batch process

Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Vision Plus Batch Process

Create and maintain technical documentation for Incidents and developed

modules and functionalities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related

field.

Experience in handling day to day batch processing in production and test

environments

Commanding knowledge on JCL Scripting, Job Scheduling, Job dependencies

and error handling

Proficiency in batch COBOL programs, file handling and data manipulation and

other relevant programming languages and tools.

Knowledge on Transaction Settlements, Statement Generation, Credit card Fee

& Interest Calculation, Customer data updates and reports generation

Thorough understanding on end to end batch processing Shadow file creation,

Update processing, Validation, Verification, File swapping and file closing

Overall 5 + years of experience with mainframe technologies and environments.

Must have recent 2+ years of Vision plus application batch processing

experience

Must have experience in trouble shooting batch issues and ability to automate

batch process based on the requirement.

Work Environment:

This position requires to work from dedicated delivery center. Occasional on-call

support and the ability to work flexible hours to meet business needs.

Collaboration with global teams may be necessary, requiring strong

communication and coordination skills.
