Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Visa Counsellor role based in Ahmedabad. The Visa Counsellor will guide clients through visa and migration processes, including assessing eligibility, explaining requirements, and advising on suitable visa options. Responsibilities include assisting with documentation, preparing and verifying forms, coordinating with internal teams and Registered Migration Agents, and tracking application progress. The role involves conducting client consultations in person or via phone, maintaining accurate records in internal systems, and updating clients on policy or procedural changes. The Visa Counsellor will also contribute to a positive client experience by providing clear communication, managing expectations, and supporting outreach or information sessions as required.
Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess strong client service and communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication, active listening, and the ability to explain complex information simply.
  • Candidates should possess administrative and documentation skills, such as attention to detail, form completion, file management, and accurate record-keeping in digital systems.
  • Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to interpret visa rules, evaluate client eligibility, and propose appropriate options.
  • Candidates should possess organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple cases, meet deadlines, and follow structured processes.
  • Candidates should possess collaboration and professional ethics, including teamwork, respect for diverse backgrounds, and adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards.
  • Relevant experience in visa counselling, immigration services, education consulting, or a similar advisory role is beneficial.
  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline, particularly in business, law, international relations, or related fields, is an advantage.
  • Proficiency with office productivity tools and CRM or case management software, and comfort working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, is preferred.
