Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Visa Consultant role based in Mumbai. The Visa Consultant will guide clients through end-to-end visa processes, including assessing eligibility, advising on required documentation, and explaining immigration regulations for various destinations. Responsibilities include completing and reviewing visa application forms, coordinating appointment bookings, and tracking application status to ensure timely submission and follow-up. The role involves managing communication with consulates, embassies, and clients, resolving basic immigration issues, and escalating complex cases when necessary. The Visa Consultant will also maintain accurate records, keep updated on policy changes, and collaborate with the travel team to align visa timelines with flight and travel bookings.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of visas, immigration, and common immigration issues, with the ability to interpret and apply changing rules and requirements.
- Proven consulting skills, including assessing client needs, recommending appropriate visa options, and providing clear, actionable guidance.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach and the ability to explain complex information in simple terms.
- High attention to detail, accuracy in reviewing documents and forms, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Prior experience in visa processing, immigration services, or travel and tourism is highly preferred.
- Comfort using office productivity tools and online application portals; ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in travel, tourism, business, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Mumbai, collaborate with a team, and maintain professionalism under time-sensitive conditions.
