Job Description:
The VIP Support Engineer will provide dedicated, high-touch IT support to senior management and VIP users. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a highly professional, presentable demeanor. The engineer will be responsible for resolving IT-related issues promptly, offering clear explanations, and ensuring a seamless technology experience for VIP users.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-to-end IT support to VIP users, including senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and peripheral issues in a timely manner.
Act as a single point of contact for VIP users for IT-related queries and clarifications.
Provide onsite and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and conferencing tools.
Support operating systems, email platforms, collaboration tools, and enterprise applications.
Assist with system setup, upgrades, and migrations for VIP users.
Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors for issue resolution and escalations.
Maintain high service standards, confidentiality, and user satisfaction.
Document incidents, resolutions, and service requests as per IT processes.
Proactively identify and prevent potential IT issues impacting VIP users.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of IT hardware, desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
Good understanding of networking fundamentals including LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, and VPN.
Hands-on experience with Windows OS and basic macOS support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts in simple, user-friendly language.
Strong problem-solving skills and customer-centric attitude.
Qualifications & Certifications
Minimum graduation in any stream.
IT Hardware and/or Networking certification (CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent).
Additional certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, or ITIL will be an added advantage.
Experience
25 years of experience in IT Support / Desktop Support / VIP or Executive Support roles.

Highly presentable, polite, and confident personality.
Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality.
Flexible to support VIP users beyond standard working hours when required.
