Remote Support: Provide advanced remote technical support for desktop and laptop issues, including operating system, software, and hardware problems.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, including network connectivity, system performance, and application errors.
Incident Management: Manage and prioritize support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed. Document incidents and solutions in the ticketing system.
Configuration & Installation: Assist with the configuration, installation, and upgrade of hardware and software applications.
User Training: Educate end-users on best practices, common issues, and effective use of software and hardware.
Collaboration: Work closely with Level 1 support and other IT teams to address and resolve escalated issues.
Documentation: Maintain and update knowledge base articles and documentation for common problems and solutions.
Security Compliance: Adhere to and enforce IT security policies and procedures to protect sensitive data and systems.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend enhancements to improve support efficiency and user experience.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in desktop support or a similar technical support role, with a focus on remote support.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common productivity tools. Experience with remote desktop tools (e.g., TeamViewer, Remote Desktop, etc.).
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Customer Service: Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service and support in a professional environment.
Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
