Trill Route is Bengaluru's leading contemporary music school, and we're expanding our faculty pool. We're looking for a talented, student-focused Western Violin Teacher to join our team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Teaching & Training
- Teach Western Violin across beginner to intermediate levels
- Provide training in bowing technique, posture, intonation, rhythm & expression
- Introduce students to sight-reading, ear training, scales, études & repertoire
- Prepare students for performances, recitals, and grade examinations
Student Progress & Collaboration
- Track and report student progress regularly
- Work closely with the Ops team to ensure student outcomes
- Encourage, motivate, and guide students to maintain steady progress
Classroom Excellence
- Maintain discipline, structure, and a high teaching standards
- Create a positive, engaging, student-first learning environment
- Uphold Trill Route's teaching philosophy and quality benchmarks
REQUIREMENTS
Skills & Experience
- Strong violin technique (Western classical training preferred)
- Ability to teach repertoire, scales, sight-reading & musicianship
- Understanding of teaching methodologies for young and adult learners
- Prior teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
Personality & Work Ethic
- Warm, encouraging, professional teaching approach
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to student success
- Comfortable working full-time on-site at our Indiranagar centre
