Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Video Editor at PPStack. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing and assembling raw video footage into polished educational and marketing content for courses, social media, webinars, and promotional campaigns. Daily tasks include organizing assets, trimming clips, applying transitions, adding motion graphics, titles, and subtitles, and integrating audio elements such as voiceovers, music, and sound effects. The role involves collaborating with instructional designers, content creators, and marketing teams to align videos with learning objectives, brand guidelines, and project timelines. The Video Editor will also optimize video formats for various platforms, maintain file management standards, and contribute creative ideas to enhance visual storytelling and learner engagement.
Qualifications

• Strong video editing skills using industry-standard tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and experience working with different video formats and resolutions.
• Ability to create and integrate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects using tools such as After Effects or similar software.
• Solid understanding of audio editing, sound design, and synchronization, including voiceover integration, basic mixing, and noise reduction.
• Experience crafting engaging video narratives for educational, training, or marketing content, with attention to pacing, storytelling, and audience engagement.
• Familiarity with digital platforms and social media requirements, including aspect ratios, export settings, and optimization for web and mobile delivery.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to take feedback, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a remote work environment.
• Basic knowledge of EdTech, online learning, or education-focused content is an advantage, along with interest in AI, technology, and digital skills.
• Relevant experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating prior work is required.
• Preferred qualifications include a degree or certification in Film, Media, Communication, Animation, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
