Role Description The Videographer at Walden Media will be responsible for planning, shooting, and capturing high-quality video content for a variety of projects. This part-time, on-site role is based in Coimbatore and involves operating cameras, setting up lighting, and collaborating with directors and producers to achieve the desired visual style. Day-to-day tasks include preparing equipment, framing and composing shots, recording video and audio, and ensuring proper file management and backups. The Videographer will work with the production team to execute shoot schedules, maintain equipment, and follow safety and quality standards on set.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in video production and shooting video for different formats and platforms.
- Candidates should possess solid camera operation skills, including working with various camera types and understanding camera settings.
- Candidates should possess practical lighting skills, including setting up and adjusting lights to achieve consistent and professional visuals.
- Candidates should possess skills in basic equipment handling and care, including cameras and related accessories.
- Relevant experience in film, television, advertising, or digital content production.
- Ability to follow creative direction, work collaboratively with a production team, and manage time effectively during shoots.
- Basic knowledge of video editing workflows and file management is an advantage.
- Diploma or degree in film, media, communication, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
