Job Description

Job Summary:

As a Videographer for the Marketing Team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality

video content that communicates the brand's message, drives engagement, and supports

marketing campaigns. Your role will involve planning, shooting, and editing videos for a wide

range of marketing purposes, including social media, websites, advertisements, promotional

videos, and product demos.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Production: Plan, shoot, and edit high-quality video content that aligns with the

marketing strategy. Content may include promotional videos, social media clips, brand

stories, product videos, tutorials, and event coverage.

Collaboration with Marketing Teams: Work closely with marketing, creative, and

design teams to understand campaign objectives and deliver videos that support

overarching marketing goals.

Storytelling: Develop engaging and creative video narratives that resonate with the

target audience, enhance brand identity, and drive engagement across different

platforms.

Content Strategy: Contribute to the development of a video content strategy for

marketing campaigns, ensuring that video materials are aligned with brand guidelines

and optimize the customer journey.

Editing & Post-Production: Handle the entire post-production process, including

editing, color correction, sound design, and adding graphic elements or effects to

enhance the video content.

Adaptation for Platforms: Create video content tailored to different marketing channels

(social media, websites, email campaigns, etc.), ensuring each video is optimized for the

platform's audience and format (e.g., vertical videos for Instagram Stories, 16:9 format

for YouTube, etc.).

Video Quality Control: Ensure the final video content is of the highest technical quality,

with attention to audio, visuals, lighting, and overall production standards.

Brand Consistency: Maintain a consistent visual and brand style across all video

content to reinforce brand messaging and identity.

Equipment Management: Maintain and organize video production equipment (cameras,

lighting, sound equipment, etc.), ensuring they are properly stored, maintained, and

ready for use.

On-Location and Studio Filming: Work on location or in studio settings for video

shoots. Ensure smooth logistics and creative direction during shoots, including

coordinating with other team members and talent.

Performance Tracking: Monitor the performance of video content, analyzing metrics

such as views, engagement, and conversions to gauge effectiveness and inform future

video projects.

Skills and Qualifications:

Video Production Expertise: Proficiency in video production techniques, including

shooting, lighting, sound, and editing.

Video Editing Software: Advanced skills in video editing software such as Adobe

Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

Creative Vision: Strong storytelling abilities and creativity to produce compelling and

engaging video content that aligns with brand and marketing goals.

Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure that all video content meets

high-quality standards and is technically sound.

Time Management: Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a

fast-paced environment.

Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively

with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, and content.

Platform Knowledge: Familiarity with best practices for video content across different

platforms (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.), with the ability to tailor

content accordingly.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing requirements, video formats, and new trends

in video production and digital marketing.

Experience:

8+ years of experience in video production, particularly in a marketing or digital content

environment.

Experience with different video formats and platforms, including social media, digital ads,

and website content.

A portfolio or reel demonstrating a strong range of video production and editing skills.

Education:

A degree in Film Production, Communications, Media Studies, Marketing, or a related

field is preferred, though not required.

Additional certifications or training in video editing, cinematography, or marketing video

content are a plus.
