Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode for a Videographer cum Video Editor. The role involves planning and executing video shoots for marketing campaigns, social media, educational content, and brand storytelling. The professional will handle camera setup, lighting, and audio capture to ensure high-quality footage that aligns with brand guidelines. Daily tasks include shooting videos on campus or at designated locations, organizing raw footage, and editing videos with transitions, effects, sound design, and basic motion graphics where needed. The Videographer cum Video Editor will collaborate closely with the marketing, content, and counseling teams to translate concepts into engaging video content, optimize videos for various platforms, and maintain an organized archive of video assets. The role also involves suggesting creative ideas, staying updated on video trends in the education and study-abroad space, and ensuring timely delivery of all video projects.
Qualifications

• Strong video production skills, including planning, storyboarding, and managing end-to-end video workflows.
• Hands-on expertise in camera operation and using cameras effectively in different shooting environments.
• Practical knowledge of lighting techniques for indoor and outdoor setups to achieve clear, visually appealing footage.
• Proficiency in shooting video for a variety of formats, such as social media, promotional videos, testimonials, and educational content.
• Solid video editing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar), with attention to pacing, audio, and visual consistency.
• Basic understanding of sound recording and audio cleanup for clear voiceovers and interviews.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative mindset with a strong visual sense and a portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant videography and editing work.
• Good communication skills and openness to feedback and iterative improvement.
• Relevant diploma or degree in film, media, communications, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience is also valued.
