About the Role
IRIS Home Fragrances is looking for a Videographer & Digital Content Creator who understands that in the world of home fragrance, we aren't just selling a product—we are selling an emotion.
We need a visual storyteller who can transform the intangible fragrance experience into compelling, high-conversion video content. You will be responsible for the end-to-end production of brand films, high-energy social media assets (Reels/Shorts), and aesthetic product showcases. The ideal candidate blends the technical precision of a traditional videographer with the trend-awareness of a modern content creator.
Key Responsibilities
· End-to-End Production: Plan, storyboard, light, shoot, and direct high-quality video content for digital ads, E-commerce platforms, and brand campaigns.
· Social Media Innovation: Conceptualize and execute social-first content (Instagram Reels, TikTok-style trends, and YouTube Shorts) that drives engagement and brand recall.
· Aesthetic Direction: Master the art of lighting and composition to capture the premium wellness vibe of IRIS products—focusing on textures, vapor, and lifestyle settings.
· Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished, rhythmically engaging videos, including color grading, sound design, and motion graphics.
· Still Photography: Capture high-end product and lifestyle photography for website banners, catalogs, and marketing collateral.
· Equipment Management: Take full ownership of the in-house studio equipment, ensuring all gear is maintained and recommending upgrades as needed.
· Collaborative Strategy: Partner with the Marketing and E-com teams to translate campaign briefs into visual assets that meet specific ROI and performance goals.
Profile & Requirements
· Portfolio Excellence: A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in Product/Lifestyle videography. Experience with lifestyle products is a significant plus.
· Technical Mastery: Expertise in DSLR/Mirrorless systems (e.g., Canon R-series, Sony A7-series).
· Deep understanding of studio lighting (continuous and strobe) to create mood and depth.
· Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or DaVinci Resolve.
· Social-First Mindset: You stay ahead of social media trends, transitions, and audio-visual hooks that stop the scroll.
· Directorial Confidence: Ability to direct models or influencers on set to achieve the desired emotional tone.
· Detail Orientation: An eye for the small things—the way a candle flame flickers or the mist rises from a vaporizer.
· Agility: Ability to pivot between a high-production brand film and a quick, trendy social media edit.
