Compensation: Based on experience (Junior-Level Role) - Upto 2.4LPA

Role Overview

We're looking for a Videographer Assistant & Junior Editor who can support the senior videographer during shoots and handle basic-to-intermediate editing tasks. You don't need to be an expert yet but you must be disciplined, quick to learn, technically sound, and serious about growing in video production.

This role is for someone who wants to build hands-on experience in camera handling, lighting, sound, and short-form editing while contributing consistently to the content pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Production Support (On-Site Shoots)
• Assist in operating and handling cameras (Sony A7M4 preferred).
• Help with setting up lighting equipment (softboxes, key lights, fill lights).
• Support basic sound setup (lapel mics, boom, audio checks).
• Manage shoot logistics: battery checks, memory cards, accessories, backups.
• Ensure smooth workflow for senior videographer during shoots.
• Editing (Junior-Level)
• Create 45 basic reels/shorts per edit day with clean cuts, captions, and transitions.
• Assist the senior editor in preparing project timelines, syncing audio, or rough cuts.
• Maintain an organized file structure for all footage.
• Import, sort, rename, and prepare raw footage for editing.
• Use any editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve, or CapCut Pro).

General Responsibilities

• Follow instructions accurately and meet deadlines.
• Keep equipment safe, clean, and stored properly.
• Stay updated with basic video trends on Instagram & YouTube Shorts.
• Support the creative team on various projects when required.

Requirements & Skills

Must-Have Skills

• Basic knowledge of camera operation.
• Understanding of lighting angles, exposure, and framing.
• Ability to edit short-form videos with clean cuts and captions.
• Strong willingness to learn advanced videography and editing.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Knowledge of Sony cameras, especially Sony A7 series.
• Comfort with color correction basics.
• Awareness of social media video formats and platform requirements.

• A team player who listens, adapts, and executes accurately.

Education & Experience

Diploma/Degree in Film, Media, Photography, Visual Communication, or related fields (preferred but not mandatory).

01.5 years of experience in videography and/or editing.

Freshers with a strong portfolio are welcome.
