Videographer and Editor Social Campaign Specialist
Role Summary
This role demands a creative video storyteller with strong execution skills across shooting, editing and packaging content optimized for social platforms such as LinkedIn and Instagram. The candidate will lead end-to-end video production for campaign assets, including interviews, field shoots at activations, expert dialogues and event documentation, ensuring every piece reinforces the campaign's strategic messaging and brand tone.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, shoot and edit video content tailored to social audiences, formats and platform behaviours.
Transform raw footage into polished narratives, creating compelling short-form videos that drive engagement and retention.
Conduct on-camera interviews with bureaucrats, CXOs, domain experts, civic leaders and campaign ambassadors.
Work with campaign data and insights to inform creative concepts and story arcs.
Manage equipment setup including camera, audio, lighting, microphones and on-site logistics.
Deliver final assets suitable for LinkedIn and Instagram, ensuring correct aspect ratios, pacing and captioning.
Collaborate closely with campaign leadership on creative strategy, deadlines and performance goals.
Maintain organised media libraries and version control of project files.
Required Experience
Minimum 3 years professional experience in video production, ideally with social campaigns, public initiatives or NGO communications.
Demonstrated portfolio of social-first video work, especially for LinkedIn and Instagram.
Technical Skills and Tools
Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.
Strong skills in Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual refinement.
Comfort with Adobe Photoshop for still and motion assets.
Knowledge of audio editing tools (eg Adobe Audition or similar).
Good command of camera systems (DSLR/mirrorless), lighting setups and field audio capture.
Familiar with video asset management and cloud backup workflows.
Creative Aptitude
Storytelling instincts with sensitivity to context, tone and audience psychology.
Ability to ideate concepts independently from brief to screen.
Understanding of social analytics to refine creative approaches over time.
