Job Description

Job Summary

The Video Recorder is responsible for capturing high-quality video footage for educational,

promotional, and corporate projects. This role involves operating cameras, managing

recording equipment, ensuring proper lighting and audio quality, and collaborating with the

production team to produce professional visual content.

Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate video cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.

Ensure correct framing, focus, and exposure for all shots.

Conduct test recordings to check sound and video quality before each shoot.

Coordinate with the production team to align on video requirements and visual style.

Manage and organize recorded footage for editing and archiving.

Maintain equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.

Follow project timelines and adhere to production schedules.

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with professional cameras (DSLR/Mirrorless/Cinema), microphones, and

lighting setups.

Basic understanding of OBS or other recording software.

Strong sense of composition, framing, and visual storytelling.

Excellent attention to detail and time management.

Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Basic idea of the editing software

Additional Requirements

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends or evenings if required.

Ability to handle technical equipment safely and responsibly.
