About HabitNu:
HabitNu is a US-based, CDC-recognized digital health company. We're now bringing our proven diabetes and weight management programs to India—blending clinical expertise, behavioral science, and coaching support.
Job Overview:
We're hiring a Video Producer to lead end-to-end video production for HabitNu's India launch — from concept and storyboarding to shoots, animation, editing, and multi-format delivery.
You'll produce marketing, product, and brand video content that performs across social, web, email, help center, and events. This is a high-impact, hands-on role based in Bengaluru.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end video production: concept, scripting, storyboarding, pre-production planning, directing, shooting, and post-production.
• Produce a wide range of content: short-form social ads and reels, long-form promo videos, product explainers, customer case studies, internal comms videos, tutorial/help videos, event coverage, and campaign hero pieces.
• Create and integrate motion graphics, 2D/3D elements, and animated explainers that align with the brand system.
• Manage production logistics: budgets, timelines, shot lists, shoot crews (in-house or contracted), location permits, talent coordination, and equipment bookings.
• Own deliverables for platform-specific constraints (aspect ratios, codecs, captioning/subtitles, file sizes, thumbnails).
• Edit, color-grade, and mix sound to production standards; deliver broadcast- and web-ready masters and compressed variants.
• Work closely with Marketing, Brand, Product, Design, and Growth to translate briefs into creative concepts that meet growth and engagement KPIs.
• Reformat and repurpose existing assets for new channels (e.g., crop a hero film into social verticals, extract soundbites for podcasts).
• Implement best practices for accessibility (captions, clear audio), metadata, and SEO for video.
• Maintain a versioned asset library, production documentation, and post-production pipelines (naming conventions, backups, proxies).
• Track video performance (views, engagement, completion rates) and iterate creative based on analytics.
• Lead or coordinate external studios and freelancers when projects exceed one-person production capacity.
Must-have Qualifications:
• 5+ years of professional video production experience across marketing and communications (agency, in-house, or startup environments).
• Strong storytelling skills — able to write or co-write scripts and craft narrative-led video experiences.
• Hands-on camera & lighting experience (DSLR/mirrorless; familiarity with cinema / Blackmagic, Arri or equivalent is a plus), and strong understanding of audio capture (lavs, boom, field recorders).
• Demonstrable editing, motion, and post-production expertise with a portfolio showing social ads, explainers, case studies, and long-form edits.
• Technical proficiency with core software and tools: listed tools are for reference
– Adobe Premiere Pro (editing), Adobe After Effects (motion/compositing), Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator (graphics).
– DaVinci Resolve (color grading and finishing) and/or Final Cut Pro.
– Audio editing/mixing: Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, or equivalent.
– Motion/3D tools: Cinema 4D or Blender (or demonstrable motion workflow experience).
– Video review & collaboration: Frame.io, Wipster, or similar.
– Encoding & delivery: Adobe Media Encoder, HandBrake; familiarity with codecs (H.264, H.265, ProRes) and bitrate strategies.
– Asset & project management: Google Drive/Dropbox, ShotGrid/Asana/Notion or similar.
– Platform & analytics: YouTube Studio, Vimeo/Wistia, and comfort reading video analytics/engagement metrics.
• Proven ability to deliver production-ready files for multiple platforms (web, social, email, events).
• Strong organizational skills: planning shoots, managing timelines, and maintaining production documentation and backups.
• Excellent cross-functional communication — able to present concepts, give and receive creative feedback, and translate marketing goals into video creative.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Bengaluru.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree or diploma in Film Production, Broadcast Media, Animation, Multimedia, or related field.
• Experience producing content for healthcare, wellness, or regulated industries (advantageous).
• Experience directing on-camera interviews and managing talent / moderators.
• Familiarity with drone operation workflows and safety (DJI ecosystem).
• Experience with motion design systems (Lottie workflows) or asset-driven animation for apps.
• Experience working with agencies / production houses and managing vendor contracts.
• Knowledge of accessibility best practices for video and subtitle/localization workflows.
Please present a showreel/portfolio (hosted links preferred) and walk us through 3–5 projects — your role, the creative & technical challenges, and measurable outcomes (views, engagement, conversion lifts, or business impact).
