Reports To: Head of Brand & Content

Zerocac is on the hunt for a sharp, detail-obsessed Video Editor to join our creative team. You'll be crafting high-impact promotional content—primarily for audio-first formats like Reels, podcasts, micro-dramas, and shows—that stop the scroll and spark curiosity.

This isn't just about cutting clips. It's about using editing as a storytelling weapon: slicing narratives, syncing emotion with motion, and turning soundbites into visuals that demand attention. You'll collaborate with writers, brand leads, and our AI-driven creative stack to bring stories to life across platforms.

• Edit and craft short-form & long-form promotional videos from raw audio/video assets.
• Add motion: layer in graphics, captions, effects, sound design, AI overlays, and animation to amplify narratives.
• Format and optimize content for platform-specific needs (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Spotify promos, etc.).
• Elevate audio-first content: use visuals to enhance and complement voice-led storytelling.
• Maintain brand consistency across all creative touchpoints.
• Manage feedback loops: iterate quickly, collaborate with writers & strategists, and deliver on time.
• Stay ahead of trends: keep an eye on editing styles, AI tools, visual languages, and short-form storytelling formats.
  

• 2+ years of experience as a video editor or motion artist (experience with audio-first content is a big plus).
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Familiarity with AI tools like Runway, MidJourney, Pika, or Stable Diffusion.
• Strong sense of narrative, pacing, and timing.
• Detail-driven and deadline-focused.
• Collaborative energy with the confidence to own and drive edits independently.
• Bonus: CapCut expertise.
  

• Experience in motion graphics, animation, or VFX.
• Understanding of social-first formats and short-form content mechanics.
• Exposure to editing promos for podcasts, Spotify shows, or narrative audio content.
• Comfort working on multi-language or culturally diverse projects.
• Strong organizational and file-handling discipline.
  

• A portfolio or reel showcasing your best promo/editing work (mandatory).
• Willingness to complete a short editing assignment (if shortlisted).
