Role Description
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling raw footage, structuring narrative flow, and editing videos for various digital platforms.
Daily tasks include:
Trimming and sequencing clips to create compelling narratives.
Adding sound effects, music, and basic audio mixing.
Applying transitions and creating basic motion graphics.
Ensuring brand consistency across all video content.
Collaborating with creative and marketing teams to interpret briefs and suggest visual approaches.
Optimizing content for different formats, aspect ratios, and social media channels.
Delivering high-quality projects within deadlines.
Qualifications
Core Skills: Strong foundation in Video Editing and Video Production.
Visual Enhancements: Skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and appealing visual styles, as well as Motion Graphics for enhancing video storytelling and branding.
Software Proficiency: Experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic audio editing tools.
Soft Skills: Ability to interpret creative briefs, follow brand guidelines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Language Requirements: Fluency in English and Tamil is a must. Knowledge of any other languages is a plus.
Background: Relevant education or training in film, media, visual communication, or a related field is beneficial. Prior experience in digital or advertising content is a plus.
