Video Editor

We are looking for an efficient and creative Video Editor who can work independently, understand creative briefs, and deliver high-quality edits with a consistent turnaround. The role will involve editing short-form and long-form video content for social media, marketing, promotional, and brand communication.

Roles and Responsibilities -

• Edit Reels, short-form videos, promotional videos, talking-head videos, and other digital content.
• Understand creative briefs and convert ideas into engaging and well-paced videos.
• Select and arrange footage, add cuts, transitions, music, SFX, captions, subtitles, and text animations.
• Handle basic color correction and grading to maintain consistent visual quality.
• Perform basic audio editing, including sound balancing, music syncing, and sound effects.
• Create videos in different formats and aspect ratios as required for various social media platforms.
• Follow brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all video content.
• Work with the content, marketing, and design teams to understand requirements and deliver videos accordingly.
• Make revisions based on feedback and ensure the final output meets the required quality.
• Manage multiple video projects independently and deliver them within agreed timelines.
• Organize project files, footage, assets, and final exports properly.
• Stay updated with current Reels, short-form content, editing styles, and video trends.
• Take ownership of the editing process from receiving the brief to final export.

Qualifications -

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Basic working knowledge of Adobe After Effects.
• 2+ years of professional video editing experience.
• Experience editing Reels, social media content, promotional videos, and talking-head content.
• Good understanding of pacing, storytelling, cuts, and transitions.
• Basic color correction and grading.
• Basic audio editing, sound design, and music/SFX syncing.
• Experience with captions, subtitles, and text animations.
• Understanding of different social media formats and aspect ratios.
• Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to handle feedback and revisions.
• Efficient and consistent turnaround.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.

Must Have Skills -

• Basic Photoshop knowledge.
• Basic motion graphics skills.
• Experience with AI-based video/image generation tools.
• Experience working with brands, agencies, or social media teams.
• Good understanding of current Reels and short-form video trends.
