We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor with a strong sense of storytelling and visual rhythm. The ideal candidate should be comfortable editing face-to-camera YouTube videos, reels, and other short-form digital content for social media.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit engaging and polished videos for Instagram, YouTube and other social platforms
- Work on face-to-camera content: syncing audio, adding text overlays, color grading, and pacing edits to retain viewer attention
- Trim, assemble, and refine raw footage into high-quality outputs
- Add transitions, graphics, music, and motion effects to enhance storytelling
- Collaborate with the creative and content teams to maintain a consistent visual style
Requirements
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
- Understanding of YouTube video dynamics - pacing, hooks, thumbnails, and retention cues
- Basic color correction and sound design skills
- Ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple projects
Nice to Have
- Knowledge of After Effects or motion graphics
- AI-Assisted Video Editing Tools (Runway, Pika Labs, Sora, Pictory, etc.)
- AI Knowledge is a Plus - familiarity with emerging creative AI workflows
- Familiarity with social media trends and analytics
- Basic understanding of storytelling for political, lifestyle, or educational content
