About The Role

The Cogent is seeking a talented and imaginative Video Editor to join our creative team in Jaipur. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone passionate about visual storytelling and up-to-date with the latest trends in short-form video content.

You'll be editing content for platforms like e-commerce Product Shoot,Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and podcasts, so experience in dynamic, social-first video editing is a must. Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Cap Cut is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit engaging short-form video content for Instagram, YouTube, and other social platforms
• Produce high-quality podcast videos with clean cuts, synced audio, and visual polish
• Incorporate transitions, motion graphics, subtitles, and special effects creatively
• Handle audio editingbalancing music, dialogue, and ambient effects
• Stay updated and implement current editing trends and viral video formats
• Collaborate closely with the creative team for content planning and execution

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, and CapCut
• Solid understanding of sound design and audio-video syncing
• Demonstrated ability to edit both video and audio podcast formats
• Keen awareness of social media editing trends, especially for reels and shorts
• Strong sense of timing, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver on tight deadlines
