About The Job
As a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor, you'll transform raw footage into polished, engaging content while also creating compelling motion graphics and animated elements to enhance storytelling for multiple clients in diverse industries globally.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the creative teams to interpret briefs, bring ideas to life, and ensure seamless integration of video and design elements.
- Utilise industry-standard and social-first software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, Photoshop, etc.) to edit and assemble raw footage into dynamic, high-quality video content that resonates with our clients target audiences.
- Develop and integrate motion graphics, animations, and visual effects to enhance video narratives.
- Ensure all video content aligns with our clients brand standards and adapts style as needed across platforms (e.g., social media, ad campaigns, and websites).
- Manage and organise video assets, maintaining efficient workflows and a structured file management system for easy access.
- Experiment with the use of AI tools such as Kling AI, Veo and Runway.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in motion design to ensure our content remains innovative and competitive.
Work Experience : About you
- 2+ years of experience working as a Video Editor & Motion Designer in a marketing or branding role.
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of videography and motion projects.
- Experience editing content for social media is a plus
- Soft And Technical Skills
- Skilled in motion graphics, animations, and visual storytelling that enhance brand identity and audience engagement.
- Hands-on with video formats, compression standards, and export processes for diverse platforms.
- Detail-oriented, with excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Passionate about new technologies and digital innovation, with a demonstrated interest in online advertising and digital marketing trends.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Photoshop, Illustrator), CupCat and Figma is a good plus. Other editing software would be appreciated.
- Emerging technologies and AI tools knowledge is a strong plus
- Strong understanding of rhythm, colour grading and sound mixing, motion principles, storytelling and narrative, and layout techniques.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Cinema, Videography, Motion Design, Visual Communications, or related field.
