Video Editor (Architecture & Design)

At The Architect's Diary (www.thearchitectsdiary.com), we document, publish and celebrate the best of architecture and interior design across India. From curating one of the country's most engaged design communities to producing print publications and hosting large-scale events like Elev8 (elev8india.com), we have consistently worked towards building a serious platform for the design industry.
On the video front, we are growing aggressively with our in-house YouTube and Instagram series. Along with this, we collaborate with leading brands in the architecture and materials space to produce structured, format-driven video content.
I'm looking for a Video Editor who will work directly with me to build and scale this vertical.
Who We're Looking For:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in video editing
- Strongly preferred: Experience editing architecture/interior design project videos (Candidates without relevant samples will not be considered)
- Strong eye for detail for framing, pacing, transitions, typography, sound
- Curious to explore new storytelling styles and editing techniques
- Brings ideas to the table, not just execution
- Able to manage timelines independently
- Ready to work from office in Ahmedabad
- Open to relocating
TechnicalRequirements:
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong working knowledge of After Effects
- Understanding of sound design, colour correction and cinematic pacing
- Experience handling 4K footage and large project files
- Motion graphics and typography skills are a plus
