Role Description The Video Editor role at Sygnific Careers is a full-time, on-site position based in Bhopal. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing raw video footage into engaging, high-quality content that supports career guidance programs, interactive learning modules, and promotional campaigns. Day-to-day tasks include arranging and trimming clips, adding transitions, titles, graphics, and sound effects, and ensuring consistency with brand guidelines and messaging. The role involves close collaboration with content creators, trainers, and marketing team members to develop video concepts, refine scripts, and optimize videos for various platforms. The Video Editor will also manage file organization, maintain project archives, and stay current with editing trends and tools to continuously improve video quality and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve) and basic motion graphics tools (e.g., After Effects).
- Skills in visual storytelling, shot selection, pacing, and sound design, with an eye for detail in color correction and audio balancing.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, interpret creative briefs, and incorporate feedback within deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills for managing multiple projects, maintaining media libraries, and adhering to file and naming conventions.
- Basic understanding of social media and digital platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn) and video formats optimized for each.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
- Relevant education in film, media, communication, design, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in educational, training, or career development content is an advantage, as is familiarity with Hindi and English content.
