About the Role
Square League is expanding its content operations across YouTube and digital platforms. We're looking for a video editor who can work at the pace of the markets. Quick, adaptive, and comfortable turning complex financial ideas into crisp, watchable content.
Key Responsibilities
Edit short-form and long-form videos for YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Square League's educational content.
- Convert raw research and market insights into clean, engaging visuals.
- Add motion graphics, typography, charts, and screen overlays.
- Maintain a consistent visual identity across all platforms.
- Work closely with the research team to convert market commentary into snappy video formats.
- Handle end-to-end post-production including cutting, color correction, sound mixing, subtitles, and thumbnails.
- Manage versioning, archiving, and timely delivery for daily and weekly content calendars.
- Adapt styles depending on the channel (informative, conversational, behind-the-scenes, etc.).
What We Expect
- Proficiency in any editing software such as Premiere Pro, Final Cut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Ability to work with motion graphics would be a plus.
- Strong sense of pacing and storytelling.
- Understanding of finance content or willingness to learn quickly.
- Ability to take feedback, iterate, and deliver quick turnarounds.
- Basic understanding of YouTube algorithms, retention hooks, and visual storytelling.
