About the Role
Touchwood Team is building a competitive sports-focused digital platform around badminton and golf. We are looking for a highly skilled Video Editor who can craft powerful, fast-paced sports content that captures intensity, rivalry, and key competitive moments.
This is a performance-driven role requiring precision, speed, and strong storytelling ability.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit high-impact short-form and long-form sports content (Reels, Shorts, match highlights, recaps).
- Create retention-focused edits with strong hooks, pacing, and music synchronization.
- Transform raw match footage into compelling narratives.
- Work closely with the Content Strategist and Graphic Designer to maintain brand consistency.
- Deliver time-sensitive edits during competitive cycles.
- Optimize content for engagement and watch-time performance.
International Tournament Coverage
- Selected candidates must be open to traveling internationally during major tournament cycles (including on-ground editing responsibilities).
- Valid passport is mandatory.
- Ability to handle fast turnaround editing in live-event environments is essential.
- Professional conduct and reliability during travel assignments are expected.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in sports or high-energy content editing.
- Expertise in Premiere Pro / Final Cut / After Effects (or equivalent).
- Understanding of retention-driven editing techniques.
- Team-oriented mindset with ability to take direction and execute efficiently.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
