About the Role
As a Video Editor, you will arrange, assemble, and process recorded and stock footage into engaging, high-quality content. You will collaborate with the production and marketing teams to ensure videos are on-brand and strategically aligned. You'll leverage both traditional editing expertise and AI-driven tools to create content optimized for YouTube, podcasts, and social media, while also contributing to the visual identity of multiple original content IPs.
Core Video Editing Responsibilities
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, story-driven videos aligned with brand guidelines.
- Use AI tools to efficiently generate short clips, adapt formats for different platforms, and create supplementary images.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time and meet the required quality benchmarks.
- Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop engaging video concepts.
- Incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine content.
- Ability to repurpose Hindi video content into multiple regional languages using AI tools.
- Strong expertise in generating regional language voiceovers and ensuring accurate lip-sync using AI-based solutions.
- Stay updated on emerging video trends, platform algorithms, and AI-driven editing techniques.
YouTube & IP Development Responsibilities
- Create distinctive visual branding (intros, outros, transitions, lower thirds, graphic packages) for different YouTube IPs.
- Maintain consistency of look and feel for each IP to build audience recognition.
- Develop content formatting strategies tailored to each IP (video length, pacing, recurring segments).
- Design thumbnails and title cards that reinforce each IP's unique identity.
- Monitor audience retention analytics to optimize creative decisions.
- Collaborate with marketing and strategy teams to plan launch timelines and seasonal content calendars.
- Ensure all IP assets are easily scalable for cross-platform use (Instagram Reels, Shorts, LinkedIn snippets, etc.).
