About the RoleWe are looking for a creative and trend-aware Video Editor with 1–2 years of experience (including solid freelance projects and intensive internships) who can transform raw footage into high-impact visual content. This role is ideal for someone who understands social media algorithms and can create engaging videos that capture attention in the first 3 seconds.
Key Responsibilities- Social-First Editing: Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos optimized for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Ad Creative Specialist: Create high-converting ad creatives and branded content that drive results.
- Enhance Storytelling: Add transitions, effects, sound design, and basic motion elements to make the content pop.
- Collaborative Brainstorming: Work with the marketing and content teams to align video output with campaign goals and brand voice.
- Trend Integration: Stay updated with the latest video trends, viral audio, and platform-specific editing techniques.
- Efficiency: Ensure timely delivery of assets while maintaining high creative standards in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements- Experience: 1–2 years of hands-on experience in video editing (Freelance work and high-level internships are highly valued).
- Software: Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is required. Knowledge of After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut (for social trends) is a plus.
- Creative Eye: Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, hook-based editing, and visual aesthetics.
- Technical Basics: Basic knowledge of motion graphics and color grading.
- Portfolio (Mandatory): A link to a portfolio or showreel showcasing your best social media or ad work must be included in your application.
- Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to take feedback constructively.
