VIDEO EDITOR
Experience: 3+ Years
Location: Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu
Employment Type: Full-time
ABOUT THE ROLE
SkillDome is looking for a creative and experienced Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, high-quality video content for social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, corporate presentations, and other digital platforms.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Edit and produce engaging videos for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
• Create short-form content including Reels, Shorts, promotional videos, and advertisements.
• Develop motion graphics, animations, transitions, and visual effects.
• Add and synchronize music, sound effects, voiceovers, subtitles, and other audio elements.
• Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to understand creative requirements and deliver videos accordingly.
• Ensure all video content follows SkillDome's brand guidelines and maintains visual consistency.
• Apply strong visual storytelling, pacing, composition, and editing techniques.
• Manage multiple video projects while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
• Organize and maintain video footage, project files, and digital assets.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, social media formats, and editing techniques.
REQUIRED SKILLS
• 3+ years of professional experience in video editing.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
• Experience in motion graphics, animation, transitions, and visual effects.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling, pacing, composition, and audio synchronization.
• Experience creating short-form and social media video content.
• Understanding of video formats and specifications for different digital platforms.
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator is an added advantage.
• Strong creativity and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Multimedia, Visual Communication, Film & Media, Animation, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in video editing.
• Strong portfolio showcasing video editing, motion graphics, social media content, and promotional videos is mandatory.
