Video Editor (Short & Mid-Form Content)

Type: Contract / Part-time (3 days a week)

Soda is an IRL streaming studio creating next-gen branded shows with creators. We're building the future of live and social real people, real places, real moments.

We're looking for a video editor to help turn 12 hour IRL streams into short and mid-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.

What you'll do

• Edit IRL stream footage into 1520 short and mid-form clips (10 sec 3 min)
• Add captions, motion graphics, transitions, and branded elements
• Identify viral hooks and high-impact moments
• Collaborate with producers to refine story and tone
• Use AI-assisted tools to improve speed and efficiency (a plus)

You should have

• 2+ years of video editing experience
• Proficiency in CapCut, Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar tools
• Strong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual design
• Understanding of what performs on social (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
• Interest in creator culture, lifestyle, and brand storytelling

Bonus points if you've worked on

• IRL or vlog-style content
• Creator or startup-driven projects in the U.S. or New York markets
