Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and creative Video Editor who can handle a wide range of video formats across digital platforms and brand campaigns. The role goes beyond editing short social media clips. You will be responsible for crafting compelling visual stories across formats including short-form reels, long-form podcasts, brand films, corporate videos, advertisements, social media content, explainer videos, motion graphics, AI-generated videos, and event highlights.
The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of modern video storytelling, pacing, sound design, and motion. You should be comfortable working with both short-form and long-form content while adapting edits for platforms such as Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
We are particularly interested in editors who are curious about the future of creative production and actively experiment with AI-powered tools to enhance editing, motion graphics, and video generation workflows.
You will collaborate closely with the creative, content, and strategy teams to produce high-quality video content for multiple brands and campaigns while ensuring each project meets strong creative and technical standards.
This is a full-time onsite role based at our Vadodara office. Candidates should be willing to work from the office location.
Key Responsibilities
#Video Editing and Production
- Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality video content for multiple client campaigns.
- Produce a variety of video formats including brand films, social media content, advertisements, explainer videos, reels, podcasts, corporate videos, and event highlights.
- Manage the full post-production workflow from rough cut to final delivery.
- Perform colour grading, sound mixing, and audio balancing to ensure professional output.
- Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, subtitles, and visual effects where required.
- Ensure all edits align with brand guidelines, tone, and creative briefs.
#Social Media and Digital Content
- Create engaging reels and short-form videos designed for high social media engagement.
- Adapt content for platform-specific formats and technical specifications across Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other digital channels.
- Stay updated with evolving video trends, editing styles, and platform formats.
#Project and Workflow Management
- Handle concurrent editing projects across multiple client accounts.
- Maintain organized project files, asset libraries, and version control.
- Adapt quickly to different brand identities, industries, and visual styles.
- Participate in internal reviews and incorporate feedback efficiently.
#Creative Collaboration
- Work closely with content strategists, copywriters, designers, and account managers.
- Contribute ideas during campaign planning and pre-production discussions.
- Assist with storyboarding, visual storytelling concepts, and sequencing.
- Support content shoots and ensure visuals are optimized for performance campaigns.
#AI-Assisted Creative Production
- Use AI tools to improve efficiency in editing and creative workflows.
- Explore emerging AI technologies for video generation, motion design, and creative experimentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media, Animation, Multimedia, Design, or a related field. Relevant practical experience may be considered in place of formal education.
- 2 to 3 years of professional experience in video editing, preferably in a digital marketing agency, production house, or creative studio.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work across formats such as reels, advertisements, corporate videos, podcasts, brand films, or social media content.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro is mandatory, with working knowledge of Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects.
- Experience using Adobe Photoshop and familiarity with basic graphic design principles.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, export settings, and platform specifications for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
- Familiarity with colour grading, sound design, audio balancing, and post-production workflows.
- Exposure to AI-assisted creative tools for video editing, design, or video generation is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with creative, content, and marketing teams.
