We are looking for a creative and performance-driven Video Editor with minimum 3 years of experience working in a digital marketing agency. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of advertising psychology, marketing objectives, and audience behavior, and should be skilled in creating high-converting social media reels, ad creatives, and promotional videos.
This role requires someone who doesn't just edit videos, but thinks like a marketer and understands how visuals drive engagement, leads, and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create high-quality social media reels, short-form videos, and ad creatives for platforms like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and other digital channels
- Edit videos specifically for paid ads and organic marketing, keeping brand tone and campaign objectives in mind
- Understand and apply the sense of advertising, hooks, storytelling, CTAs, and audience psychology
- Work closely with the marketing, performance, and content teams to align videos with campaign goals
- Write or adapt ad copy hooks, on-screen text, and captions that improve engagement and conversions
- Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, durations, formats, trends)
- Use AI tools for video creation, enhancement, scripting, voiceovers, avatars, and automation
- Write effective AI prompts to generate creative assets and video concepts
- Maintain consistency in brand guidelines and creative quality across all projects
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
Required Skills & Tools:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a Digital Marketing Agency
- Strong expertise in:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- CapCut
- Other professional video editing tools
- Experience in editing performance-driven ads and social media reels
- Working knowledge of AI-based video and creative tools (prompt writing is a must)
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts, funnels, and advertising strategies
- Ability to write basic ad copies, hooks, and video scripts
- Good sense of trends, music, transitions, and social media formats
- Strong communication skills and ability to understand briefs clearly
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with e-commerce, lead generation, or brand campaigns
- Knowledge of Meta Ads & YouTube Ads creative requirements
- Understanding of A/B testing creatives and performance optimization
- Ability to suggest creative ideas independently
