About The Role

We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our content team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing podcasts, branded videos, and short-form digital content for various platforms. This role requires someone who understands storytelling, pacing, and modern social media formats.

The Video Editor will work closely with the content, production, and marketing teams to transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with brand identity and audience expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit long-form podcast videos for platforms such as YouTube and Spotify.
  • Create short-form clips and highlights from podcasts for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Edit brand videos, promotional content, and marketing campaigns.
  • Add motion graphics, titles, lower thirds, and subtitles where required.
  • Ensure smooth audio-video synchronization and maintain overall production quality.
  • Select appropriate music, sound effects, and transitions to enhance storytelling.
  • Maintain consistent branding and visual style across all content.
  • Collaborate with the creative and content teams to understand project goals and deliver within deadlines.
  • Organize and manage project files, footage, and exports efficiently.
  • Stay updated with the latest editing trends and social media formats.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in video editing or post-production.
  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
  • Working knowledge of After Effects, Photoshop, or motion graphics is a plus.
  • Understanding of YouTube, Instagram, and digital video formats.
  • Ability to edit multi-camera podcast footage.
  • Experience editing podcasts or interview-style content.
  • Understanding of basic production setup (camera, audio, lighting).
  • Ability to shoot podcast setups and handle production when required.
  • Good sense of storytelling, pacing, and social media formats.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience editing podcasts or interview-based content.
  • Familiarity with short-form content strategy.
  • Knowledge of basic color correction and audio cleanup.
  • Understanding of YouTube retention and engagement editing styles.
