Video Editor

Responsibilities:

• Edit and deliver short-form & long-form videos (Reels, Shorts, YouTube videos, ads, event highlights).
• Add motion graphics, transitions, text animations, and sound design to make content more engaging.
• Repurpose influencer videos and campaign content into multiple formats for different platforms.
• Ensure all edits reflect brand tone and positioning while keeping them fresh and trendy.
• Maintain an organized media library of footage, edits, and project files.
• Optimize videos for different platforms (aspect ratios, file sizes).
• Stay updated on editing trends, meme culture, transitions, and Gen Z content styles.
• Work under tight deadlines and deliver quick turnarounds for campaign needs.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to experiment with new formats, storytelling techniques, and AI-based editing tools.

Requirements:

• 2 3 years of experience as a Video Editor in a creative, media, or marketing role.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong knowledge of motion graphics, color grading, sound editing, and visual storytelling.
• Experience in editing social-first content (Instagram, YouTube, Shorts, Reels, TikTok-style edits).
• Ability to adapt editing style for different genres promotional, influencer-driven, storytelling, event coverage.
• Strong eye for detail, pacing, and emotional storytelling.
• Knowledge of basic VFX and animation (bonus).
• Familiarity with AI-based editing tools, stock libraries, and quick cut-down workflows.
• Collaborative mindset with ability to work alongside videographers, designers, and content strategists.
