Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Video Editor role based in Patna. The Video Editor will plan, edit, and produce engaging video content for marketing campaigns, product explainers, tutorials, and social media. Daily responsibilities include assembling raw footage, applying cuts and transitions, refining audio, and performing color correction to maintain visual consistency and brand standards. The role also involves creating basic motion graphics and visual elements, collaborating with the marketing and product teams to translate briefs into compelling visual stories. The Video Editor will manage media assets, follow project timelines, and optimize video formats for various digital platforms.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, sequencing, and storytelling.
- Proficiency in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent and high-quality visual output.
- Experience with Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, lower-thirds, and simple animations.
- Hands-on experience with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Ability to optimize video content for web, social media, and mobile platforms.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
- Good communication and collaboration skills to work closely with marketing, design, and product teams.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Film, Media, Design, Communication, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience creating educational, EdTech, or student-focused content is a plus.
