About the RoleWe are looking for a highly skilled Video Editor with a strong eye for storytelling and motion graphics. You won't just be cutting footage; you will be responsible for the entire post-production process, transforming raw ideas into polished, high-converting video assets.
Key Responsibilities- End-to-End Editing: Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for [e.g., YouTube, Social Media Ads, Corporate Presentations].
- Motion Graphics: Create engaging 2D animations, kinetic typography, and visual effects using After Effects and Illustrator.
- Audio Engineering: Perform professional sound design, noise reduction, and audio mixing/mastering.
- Color Grading: Color correct and grade footage to ensure a cinematic and consistent look.
- Asset Management: Organize projects and manage backups efficiently.
The Pro Stack (Tools & Skills Required)- Primary Suite (Expert Level):
- Adobe Premiere Pro: (Multicam editing, proxies, dynamic linking).
- Adobe After Effects: (Compositing, motion tracking, kinetic typography).
- Adobe Illustrator: (Vector asset creation for animation).
- Adobe Photoshop: (Thumbnails, image manipulation, masking).
- Audio & Color (Required for Pro Quality):
- Adobe Audition OR Fairlight: For cleaning dialogue and mixing sound.
- DaVinci Resolve OR Lumetri Color (Advanced): For professional color grading.
- Bonus Skills (Good to have):
- Generative AI Tools: Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or Topaz Video AI.
- 3D Elements: Basic knowledge of Blender or Cinema 4D is a huge plus.
Who You Are- You have at least 2 years of commercial experience (Agency or High-End Freelance).
- You understand pacing and rhythmyou know exactly when to cut.
- You are organized and can handle 4K workflows without technical hiccups.
- You have a strong portfolio/reel demonstrating both editing and motion graphics.
