Role Description The Video Editor role at MMGA Agency is a full-time position based in Mumbai in a hybrid setup, combining in-office collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing video content for various digital platforms, assembling raw footage, adding transitions, sound, and visual effects, and ensuring videos align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with creatives, strategists, and project managers to interpret briefs, refine concepts, and deliver engaging, on-brand video assets. Additional tasks may include color grading, basic motion graphics, adapting content to different formats and aspect ratios, and maintaining organized project files. The role requires attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Editing and Video Production, including assembling footage, structuring narratives, and preparing content for digital platforms.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure consistent, high-quality visuals and enhance the overall look and feel of projects.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create titles, lower-thirds, simple animations, and visual elements that support storytelling.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar) is highly beneficial.
• Strong visual storytelling abilities, an understanding of social media and digital content trends, and a portfolio showcasing relevant work are expected.
• Good communication skills, the ability to take and implement feedback, and experience working in fast-paced creative or agency environments are advantageous.
• A diploma or degree in film, media, communications, design, or a related field is beneficial, though equivalent professional experience is also valued.
