Job Description

Job Title: Video Editor – Employer Branding Social Media

Location: Gurgaon (Work from Office)

Role Overview

We're looking for a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos that showcase our culture, people, workplace, and brand. You'll work closely with the HR, Marketing, and Branding teams to create content that attracts top talent and strengthens Univest's employer brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit engaging short-form and long-form videos for LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Create employer branding content, including:
    • Employee testimonials
    • Office culture videos
    • Hiring announcements
    • Behind-the-scenes content
    • Employee engagement activities
    • Leadership interviews
    • Event highlights
    • Day-in-the-life videos
    • Recruitment campaigns
  • Add motion graphics, captions, transitions, sound effects, and branding elements to enhance video quality.
  • Optimize videos for different social media platforms and aspect ratios (16:9, 9:16, 1:1).
  • Collaborate with HR, Marketing, and Content teams to conceptualize and execute creative campaigns.
  • Ensure consistency in visual identity, brand guidelines, and storytelling.
  • Manage video assets, organize project files, and deliver content within timelines.
  • Stay updated with social media trends, editing styles, and platform algorithms.
Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in video editing for social media, branding, or digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar editing tools.
  • Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, transitions, color correction, and audio editing.
  • Experience creating content for LinkedIn, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube videos.
  • Ability to create motion graphics and animated text is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and creative thinking.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills

  • Experience editing employer branding or corporate culture videos.
  • Knowledge of personal branding and social media trends.
  • Experience with AI-powered editing tools (CapCut AI, Adobe Firefly, Runway, Descript, etc.).
  • Basic camera handling and video shooting skills.
