About the Role
We are looking for a Video Editor who is deeply passionate about storytelling and digital content. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in crafting emotionally compelling narratives through documentary-style editing. You will work on EPKs, behind-the-scenes (BTS) documentaries, interviews, podcasts, and more, bringing stories to life in a way that resonates with audiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Editorial Vision: Take ownership of the storytelling process, ensuring each project has a strong narrative and emotional impact.
- Edit Across Formats: Work on a variety of content, including EPKs, BTS documentaries, interviews, and podcasts, tailoring each edit for maximum engagement.
- Creative Problem Solving: Think beyond basic cutsfind innovative ways to enhance storytelling, structure narratives, and elevate production value.
- Collaborate & Communicate: Work closely with producers, directors, and cinematographers to shape the final content while offering your own editorial perspective.
- Maintain High Standards: Ensure consistency in tone, pacing, and quality while delivering within deadlines.
- Experiment & Innovate: Stay ahead of digital trends and platform-specific storytelling techniques, constantly looking for ways to evolve and improve the editing process.
- Sound & Visual Refinement: Oversee final finishing touches, collaborating with the colorist, sound mix engineer, and motion graphics artists as and when necessary.

Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 4+ years of experience in documentary-style video editing, digital content, or a related field.
- Editing Software: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Storytelling Expertise: Ability to structure narratives, work with interview/dialogue-driven content, and create emotionally engaging edits.
- Pacing & Rhythm: Strong sense of pacing, musicality, and how to enhance storytelling through visual and audio elements.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot creative challenges and find solutions quickly.
- Digital & Social Media Awareness: Understanding of how content performs across YouTube, social platforms, and digital streaming platforms.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous about every frame, sound, pacing, and visual composition to ensure high production value.
