Role Description The Video Editor role is a full-time, on-site position based in Coimbatore. The Video Editor will transform raw footage from maternity and newborn sessions into polished, emotionally engaging videos that align with the studio's visual style and brand. Daily tasks include organizing footage, editing sequences, applying basic color adjustments, adding titles and simple motion graphics, and synchronizing audio and music. The role also involves collaborating closely with the photographer to understand each family's story, maintaining organized project files, and preparing final deliverables for digital sharing and client delivery. The Video Editor is expected to contribute creative ideas, meet project timelines, and uphold the studio's commitment to gentle, storytelling-focused visuals.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Video Production and Video Editing.
• Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to achieve consistent, soft, and natural tones.
• Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for simple titles, overlays, and visual enhancements.
• Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and basic audio editing tools.
• Strong sense of visual storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to match a gentle, family-focused brand style.
• Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a small, creative team environment.
• Prior experience in wedding, family, or lifestyle video editing is an advantage; formal education in media, film, or related fields is a plus but not required.
