Job Overview

Kuubiik is representing our U.S.-based digital marketing client in the search for aSocial Media Video Editorwho can deliver high-quality, creatively engaging video content. You will be editing raw footage into polished short-form and long-form videos that match the client's brand style, tone, and storytelling approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into engaging content for social media platforms (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and longer formats)
• Add music, graphics, sound effects, and visual effects to enhance storytelling
• Ensure all content meets platform-specific formatting and technical requirements
• Collaborate closely with social media managers and the production team to align creative output with campaign goals
• Maintain an organized file management system for footage and final assets
• Apply revisions and feedback efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of final edits
• Stay updated on social media video trends and propose new creative approaches

Must-Haves

• Advanced expertise inAdobe After Effects
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent editing software
• Proven experience in editing short-form social media content (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of pacing, composition, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work with multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects

Great-to-Have

• Experience editing content for various industries (e.g., real estate, lifestyle, finance)
• Familiarity with social media trends and platform best practices
