We are looking for a Video Editor + Shoot Assistant who is not limited to only cutting videos.

We need a creative person who can understand content, visuals, storytelling, social media trends, political/public communication, and audience psychology — and convert raw ideas into powerful videos.

This role is for someone who can help in shooting, editing, creative planning, content ideas, reels, short videos, long-form videos, YouTube content, founder videos, campaign videos, and social media creatives.

The person must be self-driven, creative, and able to take ownership from idea to final output.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit reels, shorts, YouTube videos, founder videos, interviews, campaign videos, and social media content
• Assist in video shoots, lighting, framing, camera setup, and basic production
• Suggest creative concepts for videos and social media content
• Decide suitable cuts, music, captions, graphics, transitions, and visual flow
• Convert raw footage into engaging and high-impact videos
• Create content suitable for Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X/Twitter
• Understand political, leadership, public-interest, and social communication content
• Coordinate with copywriters, social media team, and founder/team for content execution
• Maintain organised folders, raw footage, edited files, and final exports
• Deliver videos within deadlines
• Support urgent shoots, event shoots, and time-sensitive content when required

Required Skills

• Strong video editing skills
• Knowledge of tools like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, After Effects, or similar software
• Basic camera handling and shoot support knowledge
• Good sense of framing, lighting, sound, and visual storytelling
• Understanding of reels, shorts, hooks, retention, captions, and social media formats
• Ability to think creatively without waiting for every instruction
• Ability to suggest video ideas, content angles, and creative treatments
• Good understanding of political, social, leadership, and public communication content will be preferred
• Discipline, speed, ownership, and confidentiality

Important Work Expectation

This role requires flexibility.

Some shoots, events, campaign content, or urgent videos may require work beyond regular office hours or on special days. The candidate should be comfortable with a creative work culture where output, deadlines, and ownership matter.

This does not mean casual overwork. It means the person should have a serious creative mindset and should not treat the role as a mechanical 9-to-5 editing job.

Experience

• 1–3 years of video editing experience preferred
• Freshers with strong portfolio and creative ability may also apply
• Experience in political, social, leadership, coaching, news, podcast, or public communication content will be preferred
