Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and detail-orientedVideo Editorwho can transform raw footage into engaging, scroll-stopping content for social media, ads, website, and marketplace platforms. The ideal candidate understands storytelling, pacing, trends, and audience psychology especially in the kids and family segment.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for:
- Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
- Paid advertisements (Meta, Google, etc.)
- Product showcases and promotional campaigns
- Auction and collectible-related content
- Add motion graphics, transitions, sound effects, subtitles, and background music.
- Create engaging hooks within the first 35 seconds of videos.
- Optimize videos for different platforms and aspect ratios.
- Collaborate with the social media, marketing, and content teams.
- Stay updated with social media trends, viral formats, and editing styles.
- Maintain organized project files and meet strict deadlines.
- Repurpose content into multiple variations for performance marketing.
Required Skills
- A strong portfolio showcasing creativity, versatility, and a clean editing style.
- Proficiency in tools such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Final Cut Pro
- After Effects
- CapCut Or similar editing software
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling, and visual aesthetics.
- Understanding of social media trends and content formats.
- Ability to work independently and take creative ownership.
- Basic knowledge of sound design and color correction.
Good to Have
- Experience editing content in toys, kids products, lifestyle, or D2C brands.
- Experience creating ad creatives for performance marketing.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and basic animation.
- Familiarity with AI tools for editing and content enhancement.
