Role Description This is a full-time Video Editor Internship role based in Rohini, offered in a hybrid format with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Video Editor Intern will support the creative team in editing videos for social media, outreach campaigns, and awareness initiatives related to mental health and wellbeing. Day-to-day tasks include assembling raw footage, selecting impactful clips, adding transitions, basic motion graphics, and sound alignment to create engaging, emotionally sensitive content. The intern will collaborate with content creators, counselors, and marketing team members to ensure videos reflect PANHA's mission, tone, and brand guidelines. The role may also involve repurposing existing content, preparing different aspect ratios for various platforms, and contributing ideas to improve storytelling and audience engagement.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Video Editing and Video Production, with the ability to assemble and refine footage into clear, engaging stories.
- Working knowledge of Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and enhance the emotional tone of content.
- Skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics to create simple animated elements, titles, and visual assets for videos.
- Familiarity with common editing tools (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, After Effects or similar).
- Good sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and audio-visual sync, especially for short-form and social media content.
- Sensitivity toward mental health topics, with the ability to handle emotionally challenging content respectfully and confidentially.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and willingness to take feedback and iterate quickly.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Film, Media, Design, Communication, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Previous internship, personal projects, or portfolio demonstrating video work is highly preferred.
